damn. Must be one hell of a battery to get 66 miles on full charge when the battery itself in the car wieghs 800 pounds. They should not be allowed to keep this technology in darkness, its so incorrect, they must be a-holes!!
Chevron (huge oil) owns the patents to the batteries used in the Rav4 EV (same as EV1) and sued Toyota for 30 million dollars to stop them using them anymore, I suggest you all go watch “Who Killed The Electric Car” and you’ll see how underhand GM was.
GM sold the battery tech to Texaco who were then bought out six days later to Chevron who then sued Toyota who had been using the GM battery tech under license for the Rav4 EV, Chevron now sits on that patent blocking the rise of electric cars !!!
I’d like to have an electric car thats electric solar, where do you buy one or get a car converted at?
Now he is just lucky he could buy a Toyota Rav4 EV !!!
We just don’t have a chance of even buying one!
